The Japanese publisher Ichijinsha announced today that the manga series “My Senpai is Annoying” (Senpai ga Uzai Kōhai no Hanashi) of Shiro Manta (twitter) will get an anime adaptation. It will be animated by the studio Doga Kobo (Sing “Yesterday” for Me, Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater).
Shiro Manta has been publishing the manga on pixiv comic since 2017. The publisher Ichijinsha has brought five volumes to the Japanese market so far. An English translation is published by Seven Seas Entertainment.
Promotional video for the second volume:
Igarashi Futuba’s new job would be great if her Senpai, Takeda Harumi, weren’t so incredibly annoying! Futuba hates his laughter, she hates his size, and she really hates that he treats her like a little child. Just because Futuba is small and looks young doesn’t make her a child, and just because she spends so much time with Takeda doesn’t mean that she considers him anything other than an annoying Senpai…. does it?
